'Quare id faciam' is a bit I snagged, without much thought, from 2 lines of verse likely known to anyone who's had a little Latin in school. I borrowed it years ago, looking for a username no one else would want.
And it grew on me. Taken out of its context, it's altered the tense blurs & its sense may allow, Why will I do it, or, Why will I make it? suggestive and intertwining questions, as I take them.

Curious the religious movements that seem to grow when there's too much time on your hands.
I'd be curious to see this sort of mindset applied to one's profession. What Sheetrock Would Jesus Use, for starters?
Okay, that one I think I can answer: it'd be USG, I feel confident nothing else on the market, as far as I know, really being its equal.
Would I be so sure about that if, say, I weren't conservative and a Protestant? This is a somewhat harder question.
: )
(Brand name 'Sheetrock', incidentally, actually belongs to USG.)
I get plaster from USG.
Anyhow, I thought that the name Jesus is my Boyfriend" was coined by people intending to make fun of such music.
I am confused.

Yeah, Blogger's a bit erratic lately, it seems.
(Whiskey's comments above didn't show until two days after the date indicated for them, incidentally.)
It doesn't sound like you're confused, Sarah. From what I gather, this phrase has come into use for just that purpose to show the false side of a kind of mis-directed devotion.
